CLICK HERE for a video that gives a brief synopsis of the 5 extensions.

#1 Magic Actions for YouTube

Eliminates all the clutter on YouTube and replaces it with a solid background. Also allows you to manage the volume using a mouse scrolling button or touchpad slider.

#2 mYouTube

Enhance your YouTube watching experience. Search for other videos, read comments and watch the video all at the same time.

#3 Imagus

Imagus allows you to enlarge a picture by hovering your cursor on top of an image. Extremely useful in google images when you are trying to find a picture for class. With Imagus there is no need to open each image to look at it.

#4 Google Gifs

Have you ever looked at a gif on google images? Isn’t it frustrating to have to open each picture to check out the animation? With Google Gifs, your google gifs search shows the animations right from the google image search! A definite time saver extension.

#5 Screencastify

Screencastify is an extension that allows students and teachers to screen-capture, edit, and share recordings in seconds

*** BONUS *** Screencast-o-Matic

Screencast-o-Matic is the same type of program as Screencastify. However, it is not available in the Chrome Store. This technology tool is a GotTechED added bonus. I am adding this to the list for three reasons: 1) I have used this product ever since I started Flipping my classroom 7+ years ago, 2) the editing tools are remarkable, and 3) the makers of Screencast-o-Matic just released this beta-version which is Chromebook compatible.
