3 New Updates and 6 Extensions that improves your google meet experience

Google Meet Updates:

Google has recently released that they will be releasing new features for Google Meet.

  1. Grid View:  In each meeting, the screen can share up to 16 different users.  If you are having trouble imagining this, think of The Brady Bunch theme song.

  2. Google Meet integration with Gmail:  Now you will be able to start a meeting quicker than even in Gmail.

  3.  The Free use of Google Meet has been extended from July to September!

Google Meet Extensions:

Last week I posted 3 extensions that would take your Google Meet Experience to the Next Level (see video here).

The video covered:

  1. Nod– Raise your hand extension

  2. Gridview– Brady Bunch View (more than 16 view)

  3. Dualless – Split Screen extension

Here are a few more extensions that have come to my attention since that week:

  1. Taqtic –  transcribes your meeting (great for creating guided notes)

  2. Google Meet Push to Talk (Use Spacebar to Mute/Unmute Yourself)

  3. Visual Effects for Google Meet (Blur/Greenscreen)
