This is a podcast that you can recommend to your students. Mental Math Secrets shows how to rapidly do Math calculations in your head! Perfect for students in algebra, geometry, calculus, or any math course. Also very helpful for students taking standardized tests. If you teach science, you understand how math and science fits together. Here is a cross-over app that will be beneficial for any teacher working with equations or formulas. MIT Blossoms Top Math Applications/Resource List
MIT Blossom is a video resource library that provides teachers with over 100 lessons in both math and science that can enhance student learning.
Dan Meyer is a formal high school math teacher who taught math to students who didn’t like math. Dr. Meyer is an advocate for better math instruction and writes a blogs that provides and explains some of the math resources available to teachers. He is currently the CAO at Desmos, where he explores the future of math, technology, and learning.
